Like a book and its chapters, as one year ends, we eagerly await what the new one has in store. I am so excited for the new year!  I’m full of ideas and I can’t wait to get them out into the world.

I’ve learned a tremendous amount in 2010. And I’m hoping to learn so much more in 2011!

I love the process of age and time. I have come to accept them and they in turn have given me more wisdom. For that, I am truly grateful.

so its been an absolute tiring and exhausting season. each week at the workshops is grueling. but i’ve loved every minute of it. we’ve worked w/ some great photographers. check them out: andrew eccles, art streiber, and alan thornton. i’ve learned loads from all of them.

the downside of it all is that you dont really have any time to yourself. you’re lucky if u have saturday night and sunday mornings to sleep in. but thats it. we usually use that time for groceries, errands, and laundry.

well, sorry i havent been really up to date w/ the blog, but i barely have anytime to do anything. hope you’re all doing well and surviving as well.

this past week has been an absolute roller coaster. it had highs and lows and it went by real quick. we’ve photographed, we ate, and we drank. alan thornton, the photographer/instructor was great. very funny and down to earth. the class loved him and i learned a lot in the process. not necessarily photographically since it was a beginning light course, but my people skills definitely improved.

a new photographer comes in today, art streiber. he does a lot of celebrity portraiture and his images are fantastic. he’ll be discussing how to work as a freelance so i’m hoping to learn a lot. a week under my belt, lets see how the next 7 will be.
